Two lifesavers bashed by a lebo gang. Only one surfclub down from where I patrol (200-300m walk tops). D: Thankfully Elouera is much less exciting than North Cronulla being isolated from the shops and clubs and all...but seriously this shouldn't be something that people have to worry about, becuase knowing the type the all the Lifesavers were doing was probably telling them to stop being fuckheads and disturbing other people on the beach.

Other than that I'ma going to get my hair cut soon. Really short cause I always wondered what I'd look like and because it's so gross and ratty at the moment. ;-; *curses hair ties*

Hnnnn. Hot dinners here suck during summer. The spagbol made me actually sweat when I was eating it tonight. On the plus side no one will call me a nutter for running around in board shorts and other swimwear.
Small consolation? Strawberry daiquiri~

Seeing as though I havn't posted anything meaningful since what, a month? Not that it matters as this is ultimately procrastination.
Hokay, so:
  • Stu stuff equaled exactly jack all. After he threatened to have a repeat talk he must have just been hit by a divine bolt of common sense instead and dropped it. Neat.
  • I did a pretty damn average pols essay, not exactly content-wise but definately not something the lecturer hasn't seen before. I think the lead up really just exauhsted me before I could actually start writing. (I don't think I'll trust the University Library again in the search for sources. They don't put enough shit onto the reserve list as most the time I don't want to take the thing out of the library to begin with.)
  • Started the Lifesaving season. Every second Sunday a 7am start. \o/
  • I went out places. Though Octoberfest was the bestest. I vow, however, never to buy Bonnie a drink. Again. I've never seen anybody get away with using only $10 and a hip-flask in a 3:30pm to 12:30am stint. (We were kicked out early as some moron pulled the fire alarm.)
  • Uni ended and StuVac starts. Huzzah exams!
Speaking of StuVac though, it's just incredibly annoying that these are the times I most want to be productive in something other than study. Like drawing, which I've slacked out on. Any other boring, non-pressured day I just float around in a haze of apathy and general boredom. But then again, according to many this is a pretty normal phenomenon.
I also want to go camping.
And get my hair cut. Reeeeeeally short.

Been a while since update, mainly because buying a new computer was probably just a little bit less fun than a poke in the eye with a blunt stick. However, seeing as though it's finished I can no longer complain. For once my computer starts up in less than 5 minutes AND can run multiple applications at one time.

Last night was the most fun I've had in a while. Being able to see the whole high school group together at the same time really cheered me up, even though I wasn't aware that I needed it. We played Trivia and Pictionary in teams of two (Sasha and I obviously paired up to be team awesome of the evening winning both games...muhuhuhu). Never realised how gross Krispy Kremes were until I tried them last night.

and some drama for your llama, brought to you by Stu )

Hmmm, other than that Uni exams and assessments are doing that thing again where deadlines sneak up on you after many weeks prior of notice and subsequent procrastination. Hurrah for Politic Essays. (Methinks I'll do More's Utopia. I've enjoyed reading that most thus far, and Leviathan is just too freaking long.) D:

And now for the quiz, that really IS quite freaky. (For one of these quiz-thingies anyway. My view on success is exactly that though.)

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education:
Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:
You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:
You are afraid of failure and scared to have a go at the career you would like to have in case you don't succeed. Don't give up when you haven't yet even started! Be courageous.

What are you most afraid of:
You are afraid of having no one to rely on in times of trouble. You don't ever want to be unable to take care of yourself. Independence is important to you.

Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

Quiz here yo.

My face! It burns!
Chem lab was interesting through its sheer pointlessness. Our DEMONstrator purposefully gave us one of the hardest 'dyes' of the selection (Iodine, which - by the way - doesn't dissolve in the solvents we needed to dissolve it in. Namely water.) and even told us that any results we were destined for were probably going to be wildly inaccurate (as we were working in values of 0.001g). So we say "Why don't we just write that in our report and go do something actually productive for the next 3 hours?". But no, we need to prove that the whole thing was a hopeless cause anyway. Buggery to the highest degree. So now I have what I think must be mild chemical burn (yay, octanol) on my cheeks because I wasn't actually outside all day for anything else to burn it. D:

In other news, this Friday I'm going computer part hunting and hopefully I can meet a reasonable budget (I'm not below begging parents for money :D). So hopefully by my week of break I will have a nice and new computer! /o/

So, liek, I've done my stint of virtual lurking around places on the webbernets for a while now (though this one was exceptionally long).

Beetlegeuse, Beetleguese, Beetleguese )

And now to the random stuffs.

So stolen from that thing Airin did, but I don't remember when:

Me, looking shifty as I usually do at Uni. Whether it's stealing answers, CDs, or nougat. Unexplicably no matter the weather I always wear the flip-flops when I can. My toes will drop off from the mistreatment one day I know.

And the Mary Sue (which I just took to be more extravagent dress-ups). Her name is Dark Angel Raven Midnight Mark II. She's a robot who is enslaved by ravers (them colourful beads are restraining thingies), but all she really wants to be is a marmoset...She's also destined to die a tragically tragic death. :'(

And then I did some quick doodlies of KotOR: The Sith Lord characters because TP indirectly got me re-enthused about it. I'd draw Kriea but I suck arse at drawing teh oldies convincingly. (Size is also shitty because I draw too randomly in my sketchbooks. :D)

I havn't updated in a whiles, and to give you some idea of how exciting it was I find this quiz by shakems to be infinately more interesting. :D

1. Which would be the greatest achievement for you. Scoring a hat-trick in Football, or bowling a hat-trick in Cricket?

That's a tough one! I have to say that unlike cricket I havn't yet scored a hat-trick in football yet, but if I were scoring in a football match I may deduct that the team weren't that tough, and the value of the goal (to me) would be lessened. So cricket hat-trick.
Of course that logic could all be turned on it's head the other way... >.>

2. If our grand plan comes to fruition and we get married in 12 years time (or you marry some other loser), where would our dream wedding be?

Screw weddings. I'd just elope and get straight to the point. We then could spend the money taking a world tour or something (and therefore we could both decide on the super places to go to!)
I'd want to go skiing someplace (I don't care which) because snow is cool. And maybe Egypt...or Peru! Somewhere where I could draw!

3. One day you're sitting in your Chemistry Lab at Uni, when all of a sudden, something happens! A plan, an idea, a discovery greater than anything you could have imagined. Just what did you make in that lab? A cure for Cancer? A new fuel that does 1000 miles to the gallon? What was it that you made?

I'd make a special cannister of chemicals that could be dropped into the atmosphere and would have the capacity of generating sizeable rainclouds over any given area. It would be called "Drought b' Gone" ;\
That or make the perfect inexpensive clean-burning fuel for cars~ And then become fabulously wealthy too.

4. You decide to pack your bags and move to Hollywood. Upon arrival a funny bloke wearing a smelly suit offers you a free admission to the house of any Hollywood Star, where you'll be able to wine and dine and enjoy the evening. Whos house do you go to?

Hohoho, another tough one, though only because I have little obsession over Hollywood stars beyond lusting after them.
Ultimately though I'd lock them out of their own home as quickly as possible and have my own friends/randoms over for a partay...

5. What colour underwear are you currently wearing :} (I COULDN'T RESIST)

Plain black, like my SOUL.

Freeeeeee!
Batman Begins was grand/fantastic/wonderful. I giggled so badly during some parts when they introduced various charcters. And whenever Bale had to look over his shoulder at another person in the BatSuit. xDDD

Also! I went back to my friends house and she pointed out the set for Superman just on the other side of the canal at the back of her house. We didn't get time to drive around and check out the front of the set though. D: (It has a seaplane in the scene, and theres a white mansion-like house with palm trees.) I was stoked.

Biology was interesting. Should have studied longer but eh, definately not as stressful as Chem. ;\

Come study with me!

Er, yay...History and Philosophy study. I think I've just listened to four of these taped lectures in a row (on my fifth now /o/), thankfully most being from Nick our American lecturerperson. Anthony speaks like some people type on the innarnet....He likes to put long drawn out spaces between sentences....or thoughts....which is very annoying when trying to concentrate.... or even write down coherent ideas.... .... He also laughs at his own (stupid) jokes before presenting them. :\
The development of medical practices in Hospitals (and medical practice in general) after the French Revolution was actually quite interesting though.
I also figured out that the 17th is my Study Vacation friday with addition to being the date my Chemistry exam is scheduled. Because, you know, what are the two weeks of exam periods I've got for?? DD: (Then again it does mean I have 5 weeks of holidays instead of 3...so much time to mull over my fail. .-.)

Lalala~
Had a tiring day hunting for clothes I actually like this afternoon with Mum, and we've decided that if anyone wants to go into fashion they should design a line of kickass pajamas for David Jones adn Myer to buy...because I severely dislike whatever they have in store. Same goes to the clone-like lines of clothing...which are all cotton so do nothing in keeping you warm during winter. (So cold. ;-;) In fact the only shopping I'd enjoy is underwears shopping. Like the new Bonds prints panties. So colourful. *-*
Hanyway. On the way home we 'talked' to a random guy about the terrible state Sydney is in. And when I mean talk he just ranted at us about rugby and Redfern oval and the water restrictions...and gays. Man. That was great.

Finally, I'm still surprisingly awake for someone of only 3.5 hours sleep last night. It's funny because the deadline for the avatar exchange at FFOForums was moved under the pretense of taking pressure off Northern Hemisphere Uni students and stuff...but turns out I have all my assessments now. Admittably I had a draft since a week after the announcement of partners (which changed three times...xD) but yeah, I hadn't planned on colouring it all. (Which was reall bad...my mouse insides are so filthy I couldn't draw smooth curves. >.<) But Viki deserves more than a subpar avatar. (muhu)
So yah...guess I'll put the finished pic here too for the higher chance I can get it critteded constructively. (Though not too much on the colouring! It's only my second attempt and the first I've actually ever completed*! I'm kinda proud. :3)

* more work could admittably be done, especially with the clothes. Mention the background, you do it over yourself. ;\ (yay for last second additions!)

JDFGHDS. I was under the full intention that I was going to work hard on Chemistry and drawing this weekend but no...course not, the few time I resolve not to potato around I actually have to do stuff. xD;
Admittably I played Guild Wars the first part of the weekend so I could have one Ascended character (so I could actually contribute in Hall of Heros tournaments...only the bestest part of the game) and not have an excuse to play for multiple hours on end during exam study in the next three weeks.

So yah, Saturday night there was a last minute get together to finally send a friend off on her world tour trip thingy (New York, Milan, Amsterdam...should be giving a party to us suckers. ;-;), which was good - slept over at a friends house - but I had to cancel my double date with Freelancer, Nickboy and shakems. Ended up coming home just in time to leave for my soccer match which was pretty terrible, even though we won...if that makes sense. (So, yah...I kinda sorta have forgotten to make a picture of BleachBoys for the lovely [HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY] Airin...muu. ;-; Is eventual acceptable? DDx) So yah, also managed to ruin my plan of entering the avatar exchange thingy in a couple days early (just to shock myself), but tiredness and the gigantic blister on my foot won. /o/

Found out Friday that my low iron levels means I'm not allowed to donate blood...and I can't see myself drastically increasing anything due to my Dad requiring us to have low iron dinners. (Stupid male. xP) We have suggested that perhaps he should donate instead but he just complained.
Afterwards to console myself I bought Demon Days...which has actually grown on me. I wasn't sure what to expect because it's the first full Gorillaz album I've ever owned, but yeah...Feel Good Inc., November Has Come and DARE are my favourites at the moment.
And then after that I went with a friend to see Star Wars Ep.III, and managed to perfectly time the "Noooooo" part with the movie without prior veiwing. Ate too many M&M's but still really enjoyed it...the bad bits only enhance the movie imo. ;\

And yeah, there's only end of session excitement of rushed assignments and exam angst coming up, which means more procrastinating and more frequent updates...dumb I know. Plus seeing as though my parents are asleep I'll have to post this in the morning. (It's only 9:45pm...@_@)

Well, seeing as though my last update was that of a dumb quiz result I'll let you all know what's been happening: nothing. ;\
Not really of course, but I couldn't be arsed to write up about Uni assessments, soccer and the fact that I almost-but-ended-up-not-going to a rather large party tonight. (I feel really sick and tired. And uncomfortable shoes with my crappy ankle that I hurt again...not a happy couple.[/excuses] I'll probably be told off by the many who did go, but they wouldn't have to catch a 1.5 to 2 hour bus ride to get home tomorrow. ;\)
Uni is starting to freak me out with how many people know people that I know. Small city it seems in a way. (A girl opposite me in Chem lab is good friends with a friend from high school. I have no idea how she knew that I would know said person but eh.)
One Piece anime has started on Cartoon Network this week...and is decent enough. Toned down for the kiddies (no blood! They don't even have Luffy stabbing himself as a kid which I thought was hilarious. D:), and the voices are pretty good. Luffy's voice kinda irritates me though that's only because he sounds a little too young. Still, I'm going to watch it on a regular basis. :D
And to end this rather pointless update (oh my, don't I sound existential today. xD) here are some hideous things from the depths of Hades. (Otherwise known as my art...GUFFAW...)

I don't really need to describe you do I? You're the backbone of any

you don't demand to be the center of attention. Without groups of

Well, I had an exciting week. And when I say exciting I mean exhausting and tedious. :D
On short notice one of my best friends from high school announced her 18th birthday party in five days so I decided to go frantically shop every day up until the friday. Unfortunately I loathe shopping and the repetitiveness of it all had me wanting to take the express route to groud floor...Nar Shaddaa thug style. >:0
So yah, after the party I went to Life Saving, and then back to my friends house where we then went out for drinks with everyone else in the group as I was the only one invited to her dinner party. Fufu.
After a night of partying (read: boozing. We had open tab over $600. :000! CocksuckingCowboys = yum. xDDD) went to soccer and ended up playing in 35+ heat for close to 2 hours. The result was a draw, but against last years premiers I think it's quite a good result, although we're now one reserve down as one of the girls has staples floating around in her knee from a childhood injury. Boooo.

Scanner is coming soon which I'm gald about, and there's a possibility I might get a job for the next 3 months - 16-20 hours a week (which is tough, unless I can work Saturdays) at $18/hour (phwoar!!). I'm not sure if I'll be able to get it though, but here's hoping. I could buy a new computer to play GW (how I wish I could play this weekend with everyone. ;-; ), Kotor 1/2 and HL2 on! x3
Finally Lly, Nick - send firstborns here with me plzthnx. D: --> http://magestrix.com/K2End/about.html (Just the fact that they're planning on converting the music to stereo makes it all worth while. xDDD)

I need to buy a new scanner. It always seems to be the way that I have a fit of creativity and confidence and I can't follow through because something technical craps up. But this new scanner shall be mine and I'll charge everyone for its use (along with the pay-per-play I should implement on my brother for HL2) because, I'm greedy and have no moneyzzz.

Posting would have happened sooner had not there been the FFO scandal/drama/comedy for April Fools (fantastic work btw if anyone reads this was involved). If I had been there from the beginning I guarantee I would have been totally suckered into it. That is not much of a feat though due to my ridiculous level of gullibility - but still!
